The Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering, CIPHE, founded in 1906, the Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering is the UK’s professional body for the plumbing and heating industry. The Institute is a registered educational charity with the prime objective of improving the science, practice and principles of Plumbing and Heating Engineering in the public interest. The CIPHE works closely with Government and its agencies, industry and educational bodies in pursuit of its aims. CIPHE is a nominating member of the Engineering Council (EngC) and is licensed to register suitably qualified Fellows (FCIPHE) and Members (MCIPHE) as Engineering Technicians (EngTech), Incorporated Engineers (IEng) or Chartered Engineers (CEng).
